- The captain will be the only team member allowed to address the arena judge at any time.

- Arena judges will have the final decision on any discrepancy. No further, video tape review or any other format will be considered.
- While the announcer is familiar with ranch rodeos, anything that he/she announces to the spectators may or may not reflect the final decision of the arena judges and therefore the arena judge’s decisions will be final and take precedence over any announcements.
- All discrepancies, accidents or mechanical malfunctions that occur while competing will be handled at the discretion of the arena judges.
- Each event will have a time limit. If a team gets a No Time, they will get 120 seconds added to their time for that event.
- Fastest accumulated time over the 3 events will be the Ranch Rodeo Champion.
- Legal head catches are defined as: (a) Muley cattle must look through the loop; shoulders forward is a legal catch. Behind one or both shoulders is an illegal catch. - If cattle are caught with an illegal loop, then the rope must be cleared from the horse before the next loop is thrown, this will be a spent loop.
- Penalty seconds added to a team’s time WILL NOT disqualify a team, if the final time exceeds the time limit.
